At Aurea Trails, adventure isn't just a concept: it's part of our history. Behind every expedition lie decades of experience in the world of motorsports, competition, and adventure travel.


The project stems from Pep Mas's career, which includes over 25 years of experience in enduro and rally motorcycle racing. Throughout his career, he has participated in several Spanish Championships and competed in three editions of the Dakar Rally, one of the most demanding competitions in the world of motorsports.


All that accumulated experience in navigation, endurance, logistics and race management in extreme environments is today the basis on which Aurea Trails expeditions are designed.


A few years ago, that passion for motorsports and exploration evolved into a new project: organizing adventure trips on trail motorcycles, especially in unique environments like the desert. Since then, the goal has been clear: to offer authentic, well-organized expeditions designed for true adventure lovers.

From competition to adventure expeditions

Experience in motorcycle rally and roadbook navigation, along with years of participation in competitions and projects linked to the world of Mountain Bike (BBT), has allowed me to develop a solid ability to organize complex routes and expeditions in remote territories.



This technical knowledge, both in adventure motorcycling and mountain biking, is applied today in the design of our expeditions, creating balanced routes that combine challenge, exploration and safety.

A team of highly experienced guides

One of the key strengths of Aurea Trails is the team of people who accompany each trip. We have professionals with extensive experience in both the motorsports and mountain biking worlds.

Expert motorcycle and mountain bike guides

Among them is Emilio Prieto, with extensive experience in the world of motorsports and adventure travel, both on motorcycles and mountain bikes. His technical knowledge and experience on adventure routes bring great value to each expedition.


Also part of the team is Abril Mas, a mountain bike guide who accompanies travelers on routes designed to discover spectacular landscapes by pedaling.

Local guides in each destination

In addition to the main team, at Aurea Trails we work with native guides in various international destinations, allowing us to offer a more authentic and safe experience.

We have local guides in countries such as:
